Rules for posting fanfics

Board Disclaimer - Stories are for entertainment purposes only. Any link to real characters is purely fictional. We do not know Take That or their families, and any event, location that may fit their real locations or connection between them and the fictional characters is purely coincidental.

Also, fanfics are the property of the writer, and no attempt should be made to copy them in part or in whole without the express permission of the writer/s.

The most important rule or guide is that of respect at all times for the members of the band. Anything that is disrespectful to any of them will not be allowed

The fanfic stories are fictional but may contain scenes of an adult nature. If offended by such material please do not read.

All writers are welcome to post their stories on the forum. All we ask is that you follow one or two simple rules for doing so.

1 Any pm or sex scenes should be within the normal practice of sexual activity between adults. They should be written with respect for the guys. Any sex should stay within the known sexual preferences of the guys.
2 When writing your stories, please make sure that no real life names of the wives, partners or girlfriends are used. The same applies to children, family and friends. They themselves can of course be married in the fics, but please do not use the real life names of wives.
3 Any chapters containing scenes of an adult nature should carry a warning at the beginning. The same also applies to any with violence in them.
4 Any stories connecting the character of any of the guys with the use of drugs will not be allowed to appear. The 'guys' being the members of the band, Gary, Howard, Jason and Mark.
5 Any stories depicting the band inflicting violence on others will also not be allowed to appear.
Self defence or defending a loved one where they have been provoked is allowed.. Extreme violence is not allowed.
6 If you are unsure about any of the above, please do not hesitate to pm either Sandra or myself Tricia, for clarification.
7 Any fanfics that break the guidelines will in the first instance be removed from the thread and placed in the administration thread. A pm will then be sent to the author of the story and the discrepancy pointed out. The author will then be given a chance to put this right and the story once altered will be returned to the author's thread. If the author breaks the rules again the story will then be removed from the site.
